Major
Peter Hill.
Murdered by the
IRA when returning home after a days work.
Major Hill had resigned from The UDR
the day before his murder and he was also a former member of the
TA.

Gerald Tucker.
Gerald worked as
a hospital porter in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast and
had just finished work when he was shot by the IRA just 10 yards
from his work place.
His union called a 30 minute silent
protest at the hospital with 500 people attending a service on
the hospital grounds.
Margaret
Hearst .
A single mother
had been a member of the regiment for 4 years as well as being
a civilian employee in the camp. The IRA had held Margaret's grandmother
& young brothers at gunpoint as they waited for Margaret to
return home to her mobile home, on arrival home the IRA burst
in firing up to 10 shots killing Margaret with her baby daughter
in the next room. The murder was condemned by the Orange Order,
Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association & Cardinal Tomas
O Fiaich.
